M36 Series Magnet
The M36 Series is a miniature cylindrical recessed sensor magnet that is designed for installation in a ø3/8” hole or in a ø3/4” hole when using an adapter for ferromagnetic isolation. The magnet is designed for a press fit installation that utilizes crush ribs to retain the magnet in the installation hole. The adapter options use a locking rib or a snap in feature to retain the adapter in the hole while allowing for the magnet to be installed after adapter installation. The standard M36 magnet uses an internal Neodymium N42 magnet but different magnetic grades are available on request. Designed to pair with the MK36 Series reed sensor, this magnet enables precise and repeatable actuation in systems requiring consistent magnetic triggering.
The magnet can also be paired with an MK37 or MK38 sensors which offer Normally Open and Normally Closed output options. Magnet housings are available in both white and black.
