MK36 Series Reed Sensor
The MK36 Series Reed Sensor is a miniature recessed magnetic sensor that is designed for installation in a ø3/8” hole or in a ø3/4” hole when using an adapter for ferromagnetic isolation. The sensor is designed for a press fit installation that utilizes crush ribs to retain the sensor in the installation hole. The adapter options use a locking rib or a snap in feature to retain the adapter in the hole while allowing for the sensor to be installed after adapter installation. The sensor has a mating magnet. Housings are available in both white and black along with cable options of a 2-conductor UL rated cable or a VdS compliant cable with a sabotage loop. The UL rated cable comes with the mating magnet and the VdS compliant cable is sold separately of the magnet.
Sensor commonly paired with the mating M36 magnet but can also be paired with either the M37 magnet, or M38 magnet for larger switching distances.
